DG, BUREAU OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS ATTENDS FLAG-OFF OF HAJJ 2026 PRACTICAL TRAINING

Yesterday, the Director-General of the Niger State Bureau of Religious Affairs, Imam (Dr.) Umar Farooq Abdullahi, MPI, attended the flag-off of Hajj 2026 Practical Training organized by First Faruffy Travels at the Niger State Sports Commission in Minna.

The event, themed “Practical Demonstration of Hajj Rites,” centered on equipping intending pilgrims with the practical knowledge required to properly perform the sacred rituals of Hajj.

The Director-General, who represented His Excellency, Farmer Umaru Mohammed Bago, commended the organizers for initiating a program designed at educating those privileged to participate in this year’s pilgrimage. He noted that such practical training is essential in ensuring pilgrims are well guided and spiritually prepared.

He added that the state government will partner with the company to promote proper knowledge and guidance for pilgrims. He encouraged the organizers to utilize the Government Pilgrimage Learning Center located near the Niger State Bureau of Religious Affairs to further strengthen training efforts.

He also urged beneficiaries of this year’s Hajj to take full advantage of the opportunity to learn the correct procedures, assuring them of continued support throughout the training process.

In attendance included Hon. Danjuma Abdullahi Masu, Hassan Shiroro, Mal. Rabi’u Garima, the facilitator, and other guests.
