The Director-General, Niger State Bureau for Religious Affairs, Imam Dr. Umar Farooq Abdullahi, mpi, has on behalf of the Bureau extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah of Niger State, Nigeria, and the world over on the occasion of Eid-el-fitr celebration.
In his message, the Director-General noted the importance of peace, unity, and mutual co-existence within the Muslim community and across religious and ethnic lines. He stressed that harmony and tolerance are fundamental pillars for sustainable development and progress, adding that without peace, there can be no meaningful growth in any society.
He further urged the Muslim faithful to reflect on the virtues of Ramadan, imbibe the spirit of patience, charity, and righteousness as guiding principles in their daily lives.
He also used the opportunity to pray for the State, Nigeria, and the entire world, particularly in the light of recent challenges, seeking Allah’s mercy, guidance, and blessings for continued peace and prosperity.
“May this Eid bring renewed hope, strengthen our bonds of brotherhood, and serve as a reminder to our collective responsibility to build a just and peaceful society,” he added.
